stiletto night & day

one of the images of my first New York, when I used to stay uptown, that I will never forget  are the business women, with suit and sneakers, running around the city. They seems like Melanie Griffith in Working Girl. You could see the same scene in front of the skyscrapers on 57th St., Madison Av. and 5th. Women taking off the gym shoes before entering in their offices, to wear black high heels. Eighties are gone and maybe now we’re stronger than before and, avoiding to do it for twenty blocks, we have learned how to walk on heels from morning to evening. At Crunch gym there are courses to strengthen the needed muscles and recently the Stiletto Strength is born to improve balance and posture (not intended for anyone who has knee problems).
And when you can’t walk anymore on heels, finally we have pocket flat shoes, from Dr.Scholl to Yohi Samra lots of choices.
