A Palm Springs è arrivata, direttamente da Chicago, la statua, alta 26 piedi, di Seward Johnson (erede della Johnson & Johnson). Si è scelta questa località, fra tante che l’avrebbero voluta, perché è proprio Palm Springs a simboleggiare la vecchia Hollywood.

In Palm Springs is landed Forever Marilyn, the 26-foot-tall sculpture by Seward Johnson (Johnson & Johnson heir). Despite all the worldwide cities that wanted the statue they chose Palm Springs because it’s the legendary play land for Hollywood.
