Ieri sera mi sono dedicata alla più grande storia d’amore del ventesimo secolo, quella tra Wallis Simpson ed Edoardo VIII. Il film scritto e diretto da Madonna, scaricato da iTunes, sovrappone due storie importanti, ambientate in epoche differenti, simili in molti aspetti, ma diversissime per personaggi, forse perchè Wallis era Wallis e l’ossessione del Duca di Windsor davvero unica.
Un’eleganza straordinaria negli ottanta cambi d’abito di Balenciaga, Dior, Vionnet, Elsa Schiaparelli, John Galliano e Issa e nelle croci, dono d’amore, di tutti i colori di Cartier.

Yesterday I decided to watch the most wonderful love story during the twentieth century, the one between Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII. The movie, co-written and directed by the artist Madonna, downloaded from iTunes, talks about two difference love stories, separates by decades, similar in lots of ways, but really diverse for characters, maybe because Wallis was just one and the Duke of Windsor’s obsession was unique.
An extraordinary elegance in the eighty costume changes with dresses by designers Balenciaga, Dior, Vionnet, Elsa Schiaparelli, John Galliano and Issa and the Cartier’s cross jewels, in different colors, love gifts for her.
