Marrakech, day one

devo sempre un po’ abituarmi alle città mediterranee prima di apprezzarne il fascino. Marrakech è caotica, piena di motorini che sfrecciano nelle sue minuscole viette, la gente che ti chiede continuamente qualcosa, che insiste nel venderti di tutto. Ma, poi, inizi ad apprezzarne i colori, l’artigianato, l’atmosfera esuberante, i suoni e i profumi e non puoi che concederti a lei e farti conquistare.
Oggi ho dedicato questa prima giornata alla Piazza Jemaa el-Fna, ai Suk, alla Medina, allo shopping ed è stato divertente camminare per ore perdendomi per le sue strade.

I always need some time to get used to the mediterranean cities before appreciating their charms. Marrakech is really chaotic, full of speedy motorbikes in those little streets, people that is always asking you for something, that want to sell you anything. But, then, the colors, the handicraft, the vivacious climate, the sounds and the smells grow on you and you can’t hold out against it and you fall in love with it.
My first day in Marrakech started from Jemaa el-Fna Square followed by the Suk, the Medina, lots of shopping and I had a great fun walking down and getting lost in its streets.
